The former head of state was admitted to the health center this Saturday, where she underwent surgery for appendicitis. According to the latest official report accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the patient "continues her evolution of acute appendicitis with localized peritonitis." Until this Tuesday, the former president was under intravenous antibiotic treatment, with peritoneal drainage, showing an "evolution within expected parameters for the condition" and without fever. Kirchnerist militants accompanied Cristina Kirchner around the Otamendi Sanatorium. It was also indicated that she will remain hospitalized until the relevant treatment is completed, which could take between 5 and 7 days. Cristina Kirchner was hospitalized and operated on last Saturday after presenting a condition compatible with appendicitis, confirmed by the corresponding medical studies.
